HighTribe Refund Policy
HighTribe Refund & Cancellation Policy (Marketplace Model)
HighTribe operates as a community-driven marketplace that enables independent hosts to offer stays, experiences, meals, events, rides, and services. HighTribe does not own, operate, or deliver these offerings.
1. Host-Defined Cancellation Policies
All bookings on HighTribe are subject to the cancellation and refund policy selected by the host at the time of listing. The applicable policy is clearly displayed to guests before payment and at booking confirmation.
Hosts may choose from predefined cancellation tiers (e.g. Flexible, Moderate, Firm), which define:
- Eligibility for full, partial, or no refunds
- Timeframes for cancellation prior to start time
2. Guest Cancellations
If a guest cancels a booking, any refund is issued strictly according to the host's selected cancellation policy. HighTribe does not guarantee refunds outside these terms.
3. Host Cancellations
If a host cancels a confirmed booking or fails to deliver the listed service, the guest is eligible for a full refund of amounts paid for that booking, excluding non-refundable third-party fees where applicable.
4. Disputes & Resolution
HighTribe may assist in facilitating communication and dispute resolution between guests and hosts but does not assume liability for host actions. Refunds in dispute cases are issued only where required by platform policy, payment processor rules, or applicable law.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment provider and financial institution.
Refunds, Cancellations & Disputes
Platform Role
HighTribe operates as a technology platform and marketplace that enables independent hosts to list and offer stays, experiences, meals, events, spaces, rides, and related services ("Listings"). HighTribe does not own, operate, manage, or control any Listings and is not a party to transactions between hosts and guests.
Host Cancellation Policies
Each Listing on HighTribe is governed by the cancellation and refund policy selected by the host. The applicable policy is displayed to guests prior to payment and confirmed at the time of booking. By completing a booking, guests agree to be bound by the host's stated cancellation policy.
Guest Cancellations
If a guest cancels a booking, any refund eligibility is determined solely by the host's cancellation policy. HighTribe does not guarantee refunds and is not responsible for refund decisions beyond enforcing the applicable policy.
Host Cancellations or Failure to Deliver
If a host cancels a confirmed booking or materially fails to provide the listed service, the guest may be eligible for a refund in accordance with platform policies and applicable payment processor requirements. HighTribe may facilitate refunds in such cases but does not assume liability for host actions.
Disputes
HighTribe may, at its discretion, assist in facilitating communication or dispute resolution between guests and hosts. HighTribe is not responsible for resolving disputes and does not act as an arbitrator unless required by law or payment processor rules.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method used at booking. Processing times depend on the payment provider and financial institutions and may vary.
Fees
Platform fees, payment processing fees, or third-party fees may be non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
